This is an overview of what needs to be done to winterize your PitStop chemical mixing and transfer system in order to help avoid the possibility of damage.
Key things to do: 1. Drain the inlet and outlet hoses. 2. Open all valves to full flow. 3. Disconnect the hose from the venturi and drain. 4. Disconnect the hose from the check valve and drain any water that may have gotten in the line. 5. Drain the motor housing (not the antifreeze) from the wet seal chamber. 6. Remember to put anti seize on the pump plug. 7. When you have drained all lines and valves of any liquid; then proceed to turn all valves to a 1/4 turn on the handle to prevent any water from getting around the valve and potentially cracking it.
